🎶 Join the Bantry Community Choir: Inclusive Singing for Wellbeing in West Cork
The Bantry Community Choir is an inclusive group of men and women dedicated to the joy of singing, social connection, and community support in Bantry, West Cork.

Founded on World Mental Health Day in 2014, our choir operates with a strong ethos of community, inclusion, and participation for all. We were initiated in close partnership with West Cork Mental Health Services (WCMHS) and West Cork Development Partnership, underscoring our commitment to supporting mental health and wellbeing through the arts.

You don't need to audition, read music, or be an accomplished singer! Our doors are open to everyone. Joining the Bantry Community Choir offers significant benefits for your health and social life:

Community Performances & Collaborations
We love to share the goodness of singing! While we perform locally for those who might otherwise miss live music—including residents at Bantry Hospice, Deerpark Nursing Home, and Bantry Day Care—we also embrace diverse collaborations. Highlights include performing with John Spillane, the Claddagh Rogues (as part of the First Fortnight festival), and Gamelan Spréacha Geala for the Skibbereen Arts Festival.
