Welcome to Cork City Archery Club, a friendly, multi-discipline club for archers of all levels.

Who We Are
We proudly cater to everyone from complete beginners to international competitors. Whether you're interested in the recurve, compound, or traditional styles of archery, you'll find your place here.

• Age Groups: We welcome archers aged 8 years and older.
• Affiliation: We are affiliated with the IFAF (Irish Field Archery Federation), which is part of the worldwide International Field Archery Association (IFAA).

We offer year-round training at two convenient locations in Cork:

• Indoor Training: Rathpeacon Community Hall
• Indoor and Outdoor Training: Old Christian's RFC

Ready to try the great sport of archery?

If you are a new archer, you must first complete a beginners course with us or another registered archery club.

Beginner Archery Course 

Ready to try archery? Join our Introduction to Archery Course, available for people of all ages and abilities in Cork. This is the perfect way to start your journey into the sport!

Course Details
Duration: The course runs regularly throughout the year for six weeks.
Location: Training takes place at Old Christian's RFC on Friday evenings from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM (19:00 – 20:00).
Expert Coaching: You will be taught by Archery Ireland accredited coaches who focus on giving you a solid foundation in basic techniques to become a competent archer.
Equipment Included: All necessary safety and training equipment is supplied by the club for the entire six-week period.
Important Registration Notes
Minimum Age: Children must be at least eight years old to participate.
Children Under 12: Children aged under 12 must be accompanied by an adult who is also registered for and doing the course.
